| - Kissing the LiplessSo there i am , siting . At the modern. from 12am to 8am. watching cameras.
sigh .
shit has gone down recently, i got in quite a bit of trouble by letting my life turn to that of a liar and a coward. i think that i feel better every day, being on my own life makes way more since than it did. i feel as though a giant weight has been lifted from me , and several more put in its place. i feel that i should be single for a while no matter what happens. my friends have been helping me keep the loneliness at bay, so that's fine and well.
but seriously those few weeks at deriks house just one after another really shook my world soundly. i don't think i have quite recovered a steady footing from that whole mess. meh.
there is this guy in the house keeping department at the museum who gets in at about 6am every monday. He is not supposed to come in tell 7, but he likes to come in early. I think he gets coffee started and such. So from about 6:10 to 6:40 he comes into the security control room, sits in a chair next to me and starts making conversation. i see him in t galleries almost every day, kinda creepy up beat guy. Talks to me about general stuff like the weather and how he's always workin allot of hours, not in a complaining way, more like he is bragging about them. every time i get in a sentence or two edgewise he spouts, "right on , right on john". when he does this it breaks what little concentration i have devoted to him , and he does it with such commitment i could swear he lost a bet of some kind and now has to say "right on" after a certain amount of words. needless to say hes one of those coworkers that makes me feel super awkward. i don't really have a way or dealing with him other than when ever i see him in the galleries or in the control room and he starts saying his 'affirmation chant' i say it right back to him "right on man, right on.". infact, sometimes he says it multiple times in a row until i respond in like terms. some days i can handle him just fine and say a resounding "right on!". some days, like today, i want nothing more than to feed him razor wire hold one end , wait tell he poops out the other end, then pull back and forth on both ends and floss him to death , all the while yelling at the top of my lungs "RIGHT ON."
i digress
i hope and pray that the man relieving me at 8:15 is on time, i'm reaching the end of my endurance and i still have an hour left. i just got back from a small family vacation to houston , well more specifically the renaissance fair in houston. my family are huge nerds, but we enjoy ourselves. i got off the road back to fort worth at about 7 then didn't get much sleep and got to work.

| - Mushaboomhey everyone ... apparently i didn't get to tell everyone i was leaving ... heh . anyway im in NYC and its been awesome they have the coolest atmosphere up here . the shows, the museums, and the food are amazing. well i have lots of pics so here i go !
my dad and sister are with me this is us when we first got here off a cab from the airport. this is us looking over the hudson river at brooklyn . our hotel is in lower manhattan, close to where the world trade center used to be.
we went and saw the fire works witch were huge by the way... any way..
the next day the first thing we did was visit the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). it was incredible , honestly anything in the world can happen on this trip from this point on and the trip will be worth it . they had Warhol , to picasso. ( i originally listed all the artist that i remember seing there ... but the list was far to long and horribly misspelled ^^)
warhol in his days as a starving artist ate allot of campbell soup .... alot
this piece by andrew wyth is in my top 3 favorite pieces of all time , its called Christinas world and took my breath away to see it in person
this picasso is huge and truly stunning
this is also im my top 3 vincent van goghs starry night..... any way enough with my art rant
later that night we took a subway to broadway and say the musical Wicked, it was incredible, i honestly had no prior idea on what it was about (apparently its kind of a big deal) but even without knowing the soundtrack before hand *cough mysister cough cough* i enjoyed it
right outside of our hotel is a small taste of the irish moor called the irish hunger memorial , twas a touching yet haunting experience .
  
we kinda wandered around for a while and saw some of the local churches , they were very cool
then we went to the guggenheim museum , another art museum but not nearly as impressive and they didnt alow photography (>< but i took some pics any way ), but i did have a good conversation with one of the attendants about watching expensive lightbulbs for a living , it was good times

then to close this day we went back to broad way to see Mamma Mia! another musical i was supposed to know something about but ... well didnt >< . it was interesting , very how do you say ... ah yes , odd . i enjoyed it over all , very energetic and well put together , but i dont expect to buy the sound track any time soon .
oh and somewhere in the middle of all that we glanced by central park , witch is huge by the way , it makes up for the lack of lawns and back yards by quite a bit , and has some interesting memorials and statues.

| what a shitty update that was ..i had an amaizing time on sat night , got to know some compleet strangers really well ... it was really cool i havent had a talk like that with so many people in a long time , i have like 13 more friends now heh . >< any way , im at juans watching him play ffXii im about to head back to ft.worth ,,,, and wait let me conferm .... yep my cellphone is dead. BOOOO!
